Respect

When you're a young uncle like me, you only get respect from your youngest nieces and nephews. Most uncles are much older than their neices and nephews and they end up getting all the respect! Why is that? It all has to do with how the human brain works.
When you're young the people you respect are your mom and dad's age group and older. When you're young the people in your age group usually don't politly respect others that are near the same age. They can't punish you and they know you're only joking around.
My neice Summer is 2 years older than me. People are always asking "does she call you 'Uncle' Tyler?" or stuff like "Do you tell her what to do?" and I say no to both those questions. When, for instance, your around Summer's age and your uncle is only 12 your not going to treat him as an uncle your going to treat him like you would a friend
